Te Whare Maire o nga Punawerewere 2025: 23 June – 19 July

This group show is a celebration of the mahi of local Māori artists making Māori art. The name literally refers to young spiders leaving the web and metaphorically refers to the way Eastside Gallery’s exhibition programme nurtures artists in their developing art practice. Artists include: Antonia de Lautour, Deanna Morgan, Joe Clarke, Redgie Walker-Small, Samantha Plunkett, Selena Tapae, Sierra Bright, Tipene Douglas and Tui Martin. Aroha Pene will be in the Mini Gallery.
