Gwyn Hughes – Gwyn is an artist specialising in portrait and landscape art. He has won several awards in New Zealand for both landscapes and portraits. In 2020 he won ‘Peoples’ Choice’ at the Adam Portraiture Award and more recently was ‘Runner Up’ in the Adam Portraiture 2022.

The jurors will each be selecting one artwork to receive a ‘Juror’s Award’.

Eastside Gallery will be selecting one artwork to receive the ‘Eastside Development’ award.

One artwork will be chosen by the jurors to receive an award for ‘Excellence in Fine Arts’.

These awards will be presented at the opening on the 10th of October.

The public will then have the opportunity to vote for the ‘Peoples’ Choice’ award.
