First Steps 2024: 25 March – 20 April

Eastside’s highly regarded annual exhibition for artists who are new, or nearly new, to exhibiting is back for 2024 with a huge variety of works from 18 local artists in Eastside and another 4 in the Mini Gallery. From oil, watercolour, gouache and acrylic paintings to delicate pencil works, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, photography and works using found materials, the exhibition showcases impressive local talent. Furthermore, there’s nothing over $500.
Opening Event: 5.30-7pm Monday 25 March 2024, all welcome.
Location: Eastside Gallery, 388 Worcester St, Christchurch, free parking onsite.
